Central to the new design is a large open-plan living area, crafted to bring family and friends together in a warm, welcoming space. We also added a new master wing to give the owners a private retreat, and incorporated a spacious double garage for day-to-day convenience. The finishing touch? An inground pool that turns the backyard into a resort-style escape. We also completed a small extension to the original structure and made a series of targeted modifications to ensure everything felt unified. The connection point — a grand new stairway — serves as both a physical and visual link between past and present, old and new.

One of the more complex elements of this build was the need to complete the extension while the homeowners remained living in the existing house. Careful planning and staging allowed us to make this happen, minimising disruption and keeping the family’s life moving as normal throughout the build. It’s a part of the project we’re especially proud of and a great example of how good construction is just as much about people as it is about buildings.
